Yeah, I have to agree about the hit-or-miss quality of these new half-hour episodes. "China, IL" seems like the kind of show that's better in smaller doses. Stretching it out to 22 minutes kinda kills some of the magic. It's still a fun show to watch, but I think I much prefer the rapid style of the first season.

Wow, what an incredible series premiere. I love the animation and character designs, and the fantastical music really brings a nice touch to the action. I really hope it gets regular coverage soon. If any new cartoon deserves it, it's this one.

That makes everything nice.

The Brian/Stewie plot definitely got a few laughs out of me, especially the scenes with Oscar and his paintings. Anytime you pair those two, it's bound to pay off in some way.

Good to know I'm not the only one who noticed that.

What Smear-Gel said. TBS ordered 15 new episodes that'll premiere in the fall of next year. After that, the future of AD is unclear. I just hope that channel will be able to treat this show better than Fox ever did.

My favorite line: "Smile, you son of a bitch."

Stan: "What's the regaling? He wants to know what the regaling is! Never heard of it he says! Can you believe this?!"

Tina's boy-kissing fantasy along with the background music was just too hilarious for words. I swear, this show never ceases to make me laugh my ass off with those random, quirky moments every time.

Family Guy started to deteriorate LOOONG before season nine. It's been in the crapper since Fox decided to pull it back from the grave in 2005, and it's rarely ever been able to match the easy-flowing humor from its early seasons since then. Even tonight's FG episode, despite having some decent gags that clicked, felt

Same for me. I pretty much shut my brain off about halfway through and started checking my e-mail. These new episodes are basically background noise at this point.

That chalkboard message was so damn beautiful.

I'm so fucking sick of Quagmire at this point. We get it. He's an immoral, sex-crazed Lothario pilot with an annoying catchphrase. Every time the writers try to squeeze every attempt at comedy out of him, it gets old really fast. Next to Peter, Lois, and Chris, he's the character I'd love to see get brutally killed

I hate to say it, but this actually wasn't as terrible an episode as I thought it would be. Did it deserve a B+? Hell no. But I'll admit I did chuckle at some of the cutaway gags, even though I swear more of them were recycled here than usual. The Quagmire sex slave A-plot completely sucked and wasn't worth a single

What else is new? Family Guy's been pulling that shit for a pretty long time.

"Attention, teachers and students…"

This episode was on fire. The cold open alone was hilariously unexpected, especially with Al Sharpton's appearance at the end. And Kerry definitely deserves props for her natural comedic chops. She can really hold her own as an actress. Overall, I'd say this was the most entertaining episode of the season so far.

McC playing an AIDS-infected sex-hound with Jared Leto co-starring as his transsexual sidekick? Damn right I'm in!

I guess you can say the only proper response to this movie would be to flip the bird.

Ike sure did tame Foofa's strange, huh?
