I'd say that it's Propeller and then Under the Bushes. It didn't sit too well with me when Pollard fired the rest of the band and soldiered on with those ringers. I didn't care much for Mag Earwig and anytime I'd check in with them after that it just wasn't the same.

Absolutely not. Unless you're really into super dated movies about hippies.

Yeah and anyone who didn't think that that entire Kanye-crashing-that-acceptance-speech indecent wasn't totally set up by MTV's and all of the artists' involved publicists is an idiot. That thing reeked of publicity stunt  from the start.

Nancy Sinatra's Sugar stinks. In my opinion both of the genre albums that she did that I've heard (Sugar and a country album) aren't very good at all. The one you want to hear is How Does That Grab You. That one will knock your socks off if you thought Sugar was any good.

I liked this week's show better than the first four loko show. Tom sort of wandered off halfway through the first one leaving Hodgman in charge and I doesn't understand the appeal of that guy.

This belonged in The Best if only because of the conversation about Jim Morrison, the paste eater. Excellent stuff.

Home Alone would make an interesting double bill with Straw Dogs.

The songwriting thing was probably so the publishing would go straight to Paul (and Linda) and not to get tied up in his old Lennon/McCartney-era

Have you ever seen that excerpt of one of those Kurt Cobain diaries where he goes on about how he loves Paul McCartney and The Beatles more than he loves his own parents? What's great about that is that this praise wasn't prompted by Abbey Road or Ram or even McCartney II, it was prompted by McCartney's Give My

Ringo is one of the rarest things in show business: the lottery ticket winner who seems to genuinely enjoy what he does and totally knows his role.

McCartney isn't really known for taking risks onstage in front of an audience so it wasn't really a surprise that he went for a heretofore unheard song with a band he never performed with before—-it especially wasn't a surprise because it is exactly what he said they was going to do in the interview that he gave

That was my reaction exactly—-that track could have been off that Fireman album.
