I'm with you on the last point, I'm not familiar at all with Andy Daly outside of his appearances on CBB but considering how consistently hilarious he is on that this was a remarkably laugh-free WTF.

I've been pretty critical of this show lately but this week's and last week's episodes have been a little better than the, say, 10 or so that came before it. I think that the show improves when they get a guest from outside of the LA podcast community. It they exclusively deal with musicians as guests from here on out…

I'm not much of a hits package guy but that comp Light in the Attic put together to kick off this reissue series is as good a place as any to start particularly in light of the fact that so many of his albums are so hard to find. Apparently Trouble is a Lonesome Town is next in the reissues.

Same here. I'm still trying to get into this one and while I like it I don't think it's going to click with me the way the ones you mentioned did. Still happy to get to hear it

I was at the first NYC show and while Braunohler was doing stand up (which was the first act of the show), his mic was cutting in and out and there was a moment in the podcast section of the show that had mic trouble too. So I'm surprised that the recordings of both NYC shows weren't marred with sound problems.

If I hadn't given up on Beck ages ago, I would be tremendously disappointed by this lame stunt. McSweeney's—-yuck.

After placing so many stellar episodes in the rest week after week (I think Graham even once concluded an episode by saying something along the lines of "and until next week we'll see you in the Rest"), I think it's time for someone who actually enjoys the show to start reviewing it.

Have you heard his appearance on CBB from a while back? The one where he appears as Sloppy Timmy? He brings his space cadet demeanor to improv and it kills.
