There actually might be a way to watch more TV. You could speed it up. Monitors can refresh at crazy rates. This would likely be a good test to see if a drug or method is actually increasing your perception of time, or whether it's just a delusion.

The idea of the time-dilation prison is interesting, because it would mess with our perception of justice, which is what prison is for.

It was released on VHS in the US back in the day; I had a friend who was buying the tapes (containing 2 episodes each) one at a time, possibly as they were released. I don't think he ever got around to completing his collection. Used copies can be found on Amazon or Ebay.
