It's actually a pretty cool annual event. Just an excuse for the town of Fort Collins to hang out and drink local beer. If Smash Mouth happens to be playing during said drinking and hanging out, so be it.

I was at this concert. My friends and I thought about grabbing some free bread before the show but we decided not to because we didn't want to hold onto it all day. In retrospect, I guess that's what the stage was for.

Both of these new songs sound great, especially FuckMyLife666. Been looking forward to new material from Against Me! for a while now. Free makes it all the better!

I was waiting for someone else to mention that! The whole scene between Don and Chaugh seemed very similar to the Hawaii bar scene in the premiere. Almost like a mirror image. I wonder what the significance was.

Last week we were all talking about how Pete's probably the most racially progressive and sensitive of our main characters, but these week he talked about his father-in-law's black prostitute with absolute vitriol. Was that sincere or did Pete just want to upset the more socially conservative Trudy as much as possible?

So, the Rosens are just riding the elevator up and down all day waiting for Don to get in it so they can talk to him for a minute, right?

Everything Matters and God is Dead are both fantastic, the latter in particular. I'm looking forward to checking out his new book.

Man, last night's episode of Justified. I feel like around the midpoint of every season I find myself thinking, "Man, I'm not really sure how I'm feeling about Justified this season", and then the last stretch of episodes comes along and is like, "I'll tell you how you're feeling, you're loving the shit out of it."

You're supposed to put the "S" at the OTHER end of the title for the sequel!

I really wasn't feeling this episode. Why bother bringing back the Germans if you can't get Nick Kroll? The Germans weren't very funny to begin with, but if you can't get back the guy who sold those jokes the best, why even bother?

October 19th IS A FEELING.

I haven't posted here a lot lately, but I skim through a page or so of comments whenever I get back from school each day. You're all awesome, awesome people, and it's been a pleasure to read all of your intelligent thoughts everyday for the last few months.

I'm watching Fringe for the first time. Up until now, I've been enjoying it but not quite loving it. That changed yesterday when I watched "Peter" for the first time and holy crap, that's a great episode of television. Next up is White Tulip, which I hear is also wonderful.

SPOILERS I GUESS

I have watched Cabin in the Woods with three different sets of people in the last week. Every time, the last third or so of the film makes me absurdly excited.

Yes! That's very exciting news. I didn't think it would be happen what with Revolution and all, but this is very cool.

Where's The Cape?

Where's The Cape?

I've been offline for the last few days, so apologies if this has already been brought up. But according to the Competitive Ecology commentary, Chang's story in the episode was initially going to be him investigating "the murder of a monkey". They were going to kill Annie's Boobs!?
