One of my all-time favorite shows (up until they left Winfred-Lauder for that last season).  Great cast, and Krista Miller - well, technically Kate I guess - was probably my first fictional-character crush that went beyond just physical appearance.  Then she had botched plastic surgery or something and…yeesh…

Fair enough.  Then perhaps I could interest you in some Carnivale?  Whenever I have to name an all-time favorite show I have a tough time deciding between that and the Wire.  It's only 24 episodes (two seasons) so it's not a huge time commitment.  Just be prepared to be frustrated by the premature cancellation.
