Likewise, it's been strongly implied that Beth was on drugs (Art said he was tired of covering for her) and that she may have had one or two breakdowns before. I thought Saul did it; he seemed to imply as much when he yelled at Walt and then Walt overpowered him with his scary evil. We have seen Saul having an awesome relationship with Brock in the past when dropping off the rent money.
