@Sister Mary Francis

Good thing
Dexter didn't get…. CUT

Well I'm from Philadelphia, but I'm moving to Los Angeles in September. Will I then be a free spirit?

wow, you really are what you claim to be, HipsterDBag.

I'd have to agree with you, mostly on the point of Harry Potter. I'm glad they tore the film into two parts. Even then they had to leave out a lot of things that made the book so good.

LOLZ. It seemed most fitting at the time.

Dear Emma Watson,
I love you.

Either I'm dumb, or your post doesn't make too much sense.

Yes. For dorks you all have incredibly high standards.

The song does in fact make me want to drink and rage - preferably with a Fruit Punch Four Loko.

Son of Ranbow (was terrible, only watched it because it was expiring on my Netflix instant queue.

I agree. Essentially, besides the first two books being relatively short compared to the rest, books 3-7 could and should be split into a miniseries 5 1-hour episodes each. Or something like that.

I'm in agreement with the post above. Yates did bastardize the end of Half-Blood Prince. An all out war essentially took place inside the castle for at least a couple chapters. The movie basically just showed a fraction of the aftermath.

I feel Columbus' take on the first two "felt" the truest to the books. Very magical and innocent feeling. I would have liked him to do the whole series. For some reason, after being really into the books all growing up, I just can't get into the Yates films as much as I would like. Maybe from reading them as books

The first three films were still the best and gave the truest feeling of the source material IMO, Prisoner of Azkaban still being the absolute best.
