Yeah, unfortunately, now that I saw the movie, this is completely accurate. His style is gorgeous but the plot is kinda dumb and Rosario Dawson, bless her heart, can't act her way out of a paper bag.

Hah, which movie? I'm a MOMI member and I go to damn everything, so I probably saw it.
WARNING MILD SPOILER ACTION AHEAD
Even in the de-glammed '60s, I feel like St Marks never really looked like the worst ass-corner of Bushwick circa 1998.
As a man with a huge crush on Rosario Dawson and an erotic hypnotism fetish, I endorse this sentiment.
Thermidor 4, Year V
God that movie is amazing.
But Denzel is so bad! (Except Training Day.) The fact that Flight got an Oscar nom is downright upsetting, and I *saw* Flight. (For free.)
This was a plot point on "Up All Night" last season, with Friday Night Lights as the show (really? I know, yuck). Toss-up as to which show did it better.
Man, I suck at that. I switched to a single-speed, so really the brakes are the only system that needs maintenance. Still terrified of them, though.
Hm, maybe I'll try that. If anybody has any recommendations for a person who likes wussy beer available at TJ's checkout, now's your chance!
New skills thread!
I imuplse-bought a sixer of Simpler Times Lager at Trader Joe's. It was… a mistake.
Yeah, very accurate. As a high school nerd, I remember the relationship with the standard popular kids as mostly just mutual bemusement. Not that '80s movie enmity.
Is It College Yet? and Is It Fall Yet? are both just so great. That fantastically rendered moment in both movies where everyone wonders if they really give enough of a shit about each other to bother keeping up their relationships.
OK non-New-Yorkers, we get it, in cities that aren't crapholes that building would be gone by now. It's all we got!
Eh, it's an amazing (and iconic) building despite the grime. Most of the waterfront is a rich person's playground these days — and it happened FAST — but it's nice to have one reminder of a grimier time amidst the high-rises.
Sooo, I thought her last album was a borderline-masterpiece and that Made of Bricks is shit with a couple bright spots. I should probably ignore the C+ and buy this, right?
Yeah, I always enjoy this sketch. Don't know why AVClub doesn't like it, but I think it's consistently hilarious.
Also "I went down on her twice."
