While I like almost all of TMJ's stuff, I would recommend "…finally" - their last album - which has some terrific music and song-writing, particularly "The Kids Don't Understand", "Half-Life", and "I Believe in Something".

Too Much Joy
I've been waiting since January to see if TMJ would make your list…alas…not even on your radar…besides their smartass stuff, they wrote some clever and deep material about relationships both carnal and cosmic…and they toured with TMBG as well…
