nah, Lennon would be like Stephen King and Neil Young and lots of the other aging hippies who stayed left-wing as they grew up and stayed hippies
Lennon did some horrible things to the people around him, though

yeah if JD turned out to be a bad guy I dunno what I'd do, he's one of the best people i know of, just in general…

i dunno, i'm watching Twin Peaks for the first time and Dale's unironic defenses of rural life are pretty small 'c' conservative, at least to me

Springsteen and Stephen King, but both of their politics are comfortably left-wing,
i did hear rumors that Brian Fallon from Gaslight Anthem was secretly religious but that's it

read Miracleman/Marvelman, this happens

except the original Superman stories had him going after corrupt governors and slumlords

yeah i saw memes comparing Trump to the Joker and not, say, the dude who inherited all his money & loves sticking his name on everything he owns

what the hell, that scene literally saves lives

maybe they could do it in LEGO form, like how LEGO BATMAN kinda ends the same way as Morrison's Batman

it sounds like Dishonored, right down to the 'try and redeem evil politicians' bit

they tried to do this with the N64 Superman game, it failed

it's pretty boring just to type "'All-Star Superman' answered all these questions and is the best Superman story" every time this comes up, but it's true

he's way less obnoxious than actual theatre kids

i just started watching Twin Peaks & it reminded me of Audrey trying to freak out her parents with the power of JAZZ. but better 'cause it's what you said - he's still dorky Peter Parker, that's his dark side. its such a wonderful Sam Raimi moment

Batman tried to with Azreal but it i didn't work

i unironically loved that. if Bruce Campbell did that scene in an Evil Dead movie ppl would love it, it's so unashamedly fun and also true to what a dork like Peter Parker would think

LEGO Batman, which also had Batman learning Grant Morrison's First Truth of Batman

Ridley Scott's first job was on Doctor Who. He almost designed the DALEKs, but there a scheduling conflict. But if you think of Prometheus and Alien as big budget Doctor Who episodes, some of the flaws start to become endearing.
Or he ripped the whole thing off Arc in Space. Either/or

I loved all the pyrmid imagery but I hate how this is another anti-GMO show. There's too much fearmongering around them in fiction.

the movie needed more psychogeography
