i like that the show can be character driven without feeling the need to give the characters dramatic personal storylines. the show is better than it was in previous seasons, and there's been no character development whatsoever.

idk to what extent the character's based on him, but Gavin still reminds me of Steve Jobs. a posturing sociopathic asshole who spouts holier than thou design philosophy but has no actual technical background, and generally demeans everyone around him.

it kind of seemed like Laurie sharpened up her interpersonal skills this episode. as though Barker's casual dismissal of her relevance in her presence in front of the board got her to start reading/studying people's behavior in the workplace more.
