"Get her Donne!"
I really don't understand how anyone could like NMH without liking Oh Comely. NMH pretty much IS Oh Comely.
Let's assess: oh yes, she's the best.
Think of a number. Don't think of an answer.
Even though it was just a passing mention, I was really happy to see Wire cited up there. It was a good year for new music and all, but my hands-down favorite discovery of 2010 was Pink Flag.
I haven't seen the infomercial, but it just seems wrong that people are allowed to make and market a product called the Magic Bullet that's not a vibrator.
I cannot for the life of me understand people complaining about Amanda Palmer's voice while she's singing a JEFF MANGUM song. Grating-but-impassioned belting is the only way to do this song justice.

Thank you CTY
I had kind of a weird RHPS experience, because the nerd camp I went to during high school played the Time Warp at dances, and once per session we'd have a Cross-Dressing Day and a bunch of people would act out the Time Warp & Sweet Transvestite at that night's dance. Saw this and Mulholland Dr. around the same time last winter, and they were the two best movies I saw this year, even disregarding all the ways they complement each other. I've never seen anything else that has quite the same mix of playfulness, deep characterization, and a slight but…
Hey, they've got a reunion tour going. You never know.

Thank you for your thoughtful and well-considered opinion, Donkey-Raping Shit Eater.
Problem Sleuth
I've never seen Goonies all the way through, and wasn't thrilled with what I did see (caught the first half-hour or so when I was in 8th grade). But as a devoted Problem Sleuth fan, I've got a soft spot for the film that inspired the
