I was just reading some story about how Vanity Fair is going to publish some sort of "shocking" story about how Gwyneth Paltrow used to casting couch to get roles (like nearly every other actor/actress I imagine). Apparently one of the couches was Harvey Weinstein's.
I grew up in the swamplands of Florida, where I think all kids are issued these books, and I hated them. I think it had more to do with my hatred of Florida though.

They get a free education. Something that is very expensive and Doesn't that count as "payment?" Tuition alone costs something like $40,000 a year at the University of Notre Dame. Often athletes get free meal plans, housing, tutoring, clothes, and such on top of that.
Other people who go to college don't bitch about how they don't want to be there and how they're basically slaves.
