Yes. I think I'm one of the only fans of both shows. lol

The CW cancelled 3 soaps last year alone. Not to mention there are only 3 daytime soaps left on TV. 5 years ago there were 8.
Lookwell has aired on TV. It aired as a TV movie to very low ratings.
Besides Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries (which I think of more as a soap), I haven't liked any of them.
How could anyone not like Klaus?
The 90210 revival ran for several years, One Tree Hill ran for another 4 seasons on The CW, and The Vampire Diaries is still there.
No, that was 2009.
Also, why is that a "problem?" I'm much more likely to watch something with attractive people in it. If I wanted to see uggos I'd look in a mirror.
I hope not. I miss all the wonderful soap operas they used to show.
The Cassavetes Blu-ray won't be released for a week. :(
@avclub-c156902f5b20b572848be18c11634dfb:disqus Yeah, like I said above I think most of the hate is from people who've never seen the show. The complaint about the show that comes up is that "the good guys catch the bad guys and everyone feels good at the end because it's so simplistic."
I love the one where Shawn joins a cult.
Since that show is so hated here (mostly by people who've obviously never seen it) it would lead to some interesting discussions.
@avclub-baaedcdb844cfad4d960c9df351fd807:disqus I have a crush on him, so ewwwwwwwwww
Yeah, how dare she date a cute, funny, wealthy, famous man.
I had a similar experience. I first saw the movie as a teenager not knowing anything about it. It came on IFC or Sundance one afternoon and I knew it was chosen Ebert as the "Best Film of 1987" and that it was directed by David Mamet. I had never seen anything written or directed by Mamet, I just had a vague…
In his book The Gift of Fear, security expect Gavin de Becker uses that scene as an example. He also tells a real-life anecdote about Mamet and refers to him as a "genius of human nature."
Better watch out for that Matthew Perry.
This is my favorite of all the great neo noir of the 80s. I love Mantegna's screaming near the end; " You came back like a DOG to its own VOMIT!"
I got my hands on bootlegs of all the episodes of that show. A good third have no sound, but the ones with sound are surprisingly still scary.
