On Saturday I watched the Nicholas Sparks adaption Safe Haven. Despite being a fan of Sparks I haven't read that book. I realized something I can't believe I never did previously; evil cops are a common trope in Spark's work. Considering how much I hate cops, I really can't get over not noticing that. It's in at least

I agree. Plus I find the actress who plays Tamara to be a distracting actress.

All of the Huntsman girls are lovely. Meghan McCain is cute too.

"Full Measures" is my favorite episode.

OMFG!

I think Walt has some kind of proof that he was the brain behind Gray Matter, so to speak. This will get his family and him the recognition that he's always wanted.

On that site there is an article by Vachss himself called "Watch Your Language" on the same subject that I've found really helpful in explaining this issue to people.

@avclub-e19801f9caf39bff8afc5e4548f2942d:disqus People tolerate it all the time now.

@avclub-410987637793620466d1b0732bd7ed6d:disqus Maybe a case of time served?

Letting the perpetrator plead out is not uncommon in cases of child abuse because few lawyers want actually want to interview/cross-examine a child that's been raped. Plus, who the hell wants to put a kid through that kind of trial?

In college I got addicted to watching TCM the gym on campus didn't open as early as I got up. I used to watch a movie near daily before my run.

@avclub-c156902f5b20b572848be18c11634dfb:disqus I think the "might pass it down to my future daughter" is simply a justification for spending it so much, because if people actually believed in doing that, they'd wear their own mom's dress!

True Blood used stores the characters would likely shop at like Forever 21.

There was a season 1 episode where they came into some extra money and everyone got something (Roseanne her perfume, Dan a bell for his boat, etc.) and Becky got a pair of designer jeans and it was a big deal. As opposed to her wearing designer jeans every episode.

I was going to move to Canada.

When I was engaged (we broke up before the wedding) I bought a dress for and it was on sale for $75 (down from $150), but I'd of paid full price I liked it so much. It was actually a prom dress and about a year after my broken engagement, an identical one was used in the movie The Vow.

I agree. I remember when my family got a satellite dish when I was a teenager and my mom and I wanted SoapNet, but you could only get it with the "family package" which besides SoapNet was a bunch of kids channels.

Do generation-xers even watch TV? Don't they all just download it or watch on Hulu?

It was the name of the du Pont guy's estate.
