When I was a kid I had a friend named Jennifer who loved Jennifer 8.

I hated the first Transformers movie because there were hardly any Transformers in it.

There's a terrific animated version of The Selfish Giant.

As I mentioned above, I've been revisiting Egoyan's films and I think his viewpoint is very much stuck in the pre-internet age. His themes haven't progressed as technology rapidly has.

If you watch his films in order, they get better and better and peak with The Sweet Hereafter (which is ranked #3 as my all-time favorite film after Showgirls and Blue Velvet) and then they got worse and worse. I gave up on him after Where the Truth Lies.

@Scrawler2:disqus Yeah, that's why I wonder why she's in everything all of a sudden. Why not Jaime King or Sienna Miller or any other blonde actress between the ages of 25-35?

She was in an early episode of Criminal Minds and the terrible remake of The Stepfather.

Why is she suddenly in everything?

It's not just my favorite Lynch film, it's second only to Showgirls as my all-time favorite movie.

@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus I agree. The things she gets shit for people don't give other male directors. Like "all her movies are about rich people." No one complains that Whit Stillman's movies are all about rich people.

I assume they kept "Good Lovin" since it's on the DVD. I suspect the only reason they shelled out for the rights was because Sonny sings along to it. They replaced a lot of less-famous songs with generic music.

If you want to see Danny Huston's penis, track down a copy of Ivansxtc.

I saw in in the theaters as a tween with a crush on Brad Pitt and I thought it was a buddy cop movie.

Did they keep the original music in tact when they aired it?

Sonny Steelgrave will always be my favorite. The Profitt arc is probably better, but Vinnie's relationship with Sonny gets me every time.

Jon Peters must've been great in bed for Streisand to do all she did for him.

At one time Julianne Moore was supposed to play Hillary Clinton. There are photographs of her in makeup online and Moore looks so awkward.

Since someone brought it up on this site recently, I decided to rewatch Wiseguy. I watched the entire Sonny Steelgrave arc. This was my 4th viewing of it and it gets better every time.

Blue Velvet has been one of my favorite movies since I stumbled across a copy of it in a thrift store when I was 14. I didn't necessarily like it the first time I saw it, but I couldn't get it out of my head and watched it 4 nights in a row and by the 4th viewing, I loved it.

Congratulations!
