There are also people who are probably buying them because they know they're bad. I never read these books, but I did buy and read a truly awful book called Still Missing by Chevy Stevens specifically because it got an "F" grade on this site. I figured it must be wonderfully horrible - and it was!

I think his character was only the second "client murderously obsessed with one of the lawyers." The first I think was George, the guy who dressed like a nun. Emerson's was the best though, because he seemed genuinely unhinged.
