The more that I think about it, the more Accepted resembles Berlin Alexanderplatz.

I've never seen Orange County, but Accepted might be the flip-side of it. In in, the guy does not get into college, so as to not disappoint his parents he and his friends create a fake accepted letter and website. Then other people start showing up at the abandoned building he used as the school to fool his parents,…
I agree. I've liked her since she was a child in low-budget Canadian television.
I fucking hated that movie.
I blame Road House for my getting a degree in philosophy.
I have a soft spot for funny comedies that turn into something more complex. My favorites are Pleasantville which starts off as a satire of 50s sitcoms then reveals itself to be something more, dealing with race, sexual awaking and enlightenment in a sensitive manner. I also love Accepted which seems like another…
I did a search for the Sean O'Neal who was on Clarissa Explains It All and found this:
There is an article that was in Film Comment in the 90s called "David Lynch's Secret History of the United States" that discusses this film in depth and focus on the sexual abuse aspect. I couldn't find it online.
Since everyone else is doing it:
1. Blue Velvet
2. Mulholland Drive
3. Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me
4. Eraserhead
5. The Elephant Man
6. The Straight Story
7. Lost Highway
8. Inland Empire
9. Wild at Heart
10. Dune
So does her mom prevent her from taking projects not made by their company or does no one want to work with her because her mom insists on the company coproducing?
Someone just informed me that you can buy a bikini some girl from Teen Mom wore in a sex tape. So, if you missed the Bea Arthur portrait, you can always bid on that.
Kristin, with no "e."
That is not surprising. Most of her "projects" are made by the production company she has with her mom.
On that Kickstarter page Kristen Bell's name is misspelled.
She's almost 40.
I also like Legally Blonde. Just Like Heaven is cute too.
People forget that prior to Legally Blonde Witherspoon did a lot of dark and/or interesting fare. Hell, she was even in American Psycho.
My favorite moment of her acting in that film is when she's staring at the clock while in class and is filled with so much anguish that she can't express while everyone else is going about their normal little lives. The look on her face makes me weep every time I watch the movie.
#3 for me after Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive.
I believe his involvement with Gerwig started after his marriage ended, though I might be wrong. She also isn't his wife's daughter. Both of which make him much less disgusting than Woody Allen.
