Yep. The part that says "By Sean O'Neal" is basically a dead giveaway.

Bangers in the mouth. Of course, in the Colonies, you just call it a sausage in the mouth.
I didn't care for the part where he sneezed.

Spiritualized's "Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space" not only uses the chords but layers the lyrical melody on top in a way that totally mirrors Pachelbel.

Yep, he's a jerk. Although I thought it was really interesting that they got Switzer to kinda-sorta-halfway admit that he might not have handled his coaching of Dupree very well.

Yup. I really liked the first album and I still have high hopes that there will be good stuff on this one, but that song sounded like they were channeling their inner Natalie Merchant.

I love it when no one checks in to offer an opinion. It's always good to hear from no one.
And how adorable is it when she asks Siri "Is it raining" when it's fucking pouring outside?
I've been doing the same, listening to all the old stuff, and much of it has aged well. Out of Time, however… man oh man, "Radio Song" is goofy. It actually sounds more embarrassing now than "Shiny Happy People". But it's still got some good tracks - "Half a World Away" is a nice song.
Hyden, this is you at your most beautiful. (REM pun intended.) Maybe it's partly because we're exactly the same age and have nearly identical taste, but I can read stuff like this (and that Alternative Nation series) from you all day.
