Generally speaking it's harder to judge TV shows according to the Bechdel test because there's so much more footage than a film, meaning there's bound to be a moment that passes it at some point. That being said, I think Farscape did have a harder time of it than other shows (Dax and Kira 4EVA).

I admire your willpower. A few weeks ago I was just about to catch up with the reviews and I promised myself that I would diligently wait and watch the eps on a week by week basis. That resolution lasted about, oh, 20 hours.

Really? I liked her hair. I mean, the dress was so awesome that I didn't really notice it, but I felt it went along with everything else.

I know this isn't nearly important as all the drama, but I absolutely loved Bay's rehearsal dinner outfit.

If I remember correctly it's been two (school) years. Bay was at Buckner during the first year and started attending Carlton in the second. They also turn 16 a few episodes into the 1st season.

As I was watching the frantic scramblings of "Beware of Dog", a cockroach dropped *from my air conditioner vents* onto my bed and proceeded to slip under the mattress.

Agreed on both counts. Still, Ty's Ke$ha rant deserves the love.

Back in the first season they were going to have sex pretty casually (the show itself didn't even make it clear she hadn't yet), so I can see why he'd assume she wasn't a virgin.
Not to mention the fact that other than her and poor, messed up travis, every single teenager on this show seems to have been getting it on

Well, barring him having some RL reasons for not being around as much (dear lord, I hope there aren't any of those) I'm guessing the Ty storyline is probably headed for some increased Emmett screenangst.

"he doesn’t have a big, muscular, beautiful body. (And, honestly, he probably never will.)"

Huh. I had Danny pretty squarely pegged (oy. sorry) in the Lacey corner, what with the late-night sexual tensions and the potential 'she has a boyfriend' conflict, and I thought his relationship with Jo was just friendly. But that could just be because a) I have no idea what I'm talking about, b) I like friendship

I think it's just that the sad 90s ponytail wasn't doing him any favors. I didn't think much of his looks until he opened the door to let Jo in after the party and his hair was down. Then I began to reassess.

The whole autism dialogue was kinda weird to me. Even if it's the last time it's mentioned, for a show that goes to such length to break down  stereotypes surrounding marginalized communities it seems a little insensitive to immediately assume autistic = magical unicorn of socially inept genius.

Yes. Travis and Emmett are my new favorite bromance.

That does not bode well. They did the same with with Make It or Break It and when it finally did come back it was for a handful of episodes haphazardly put together to appease the audience. I wouldn't wish that on Bunheads.

I doubt it. Someone on another forum pointed out that Dayan was pretty popular after the 1967 war, and while that doesn't sound like something Stan would approve of he does have a thing for irony and could just be exhibiting some proto hipsterism.
Then again, Dayan also criticized the American strategy in Vietnam, so

As much as I liked this episode, my favorite part was Stan's giant Moshe Dayan poster.

"A live kind of family."

I officially feel like a kicked puppy. I'm not even sure I want to come back for more.

Yes, that's my assumption. I'm just curious what that connection might be (and if it's somehow related to the 'only time the doctor could ever tell River his name', as he mentioned in "Forest of the Dead".)
