Not really, Azazel was described as a tyrant that held the demons together, and Lilith was locked away deep in the Pit, which is one of the reasons he need to open the devil's gate in season two. Then she took over, and directed the demons to break the seals to release Lucifer, and Alastair was basically content with

Well, Lucifer was technically locked-up in his cage, and the only way to communicate with him was to sacrifice seven nuns at that convent.

She never ran things, she was Azazel's "daughter," but she was strong, since she was able to walk on consecrated ground. She was just a Lucifer loyalist.

Tracy is mad at Sam because she blames him for the demons who killed her family, which fairly understandable.

Just like water balloons. It's as if they fell from something like the Empire State Building.

@Lola:disqus  Really? LOL.

Yeah, I'd say that's about right.

He's associated with the Apocalypse, being one of the angels to rule when it's over.

@avclub-e74588bd5b5ee91572458946f383c38b:disqus  I actually think "Rock Bottom" may have been one of the few songs spared.
They even replaced, "Carry On Wayward Son."

I don't think they are necessarily cut-off, they've had their wings clipped, so they can't teleport, thus being locked out of Heaven. What a fallen angel is has been a pretty loose definition on the show, from Lucifer and Cas, still having their powers, to Anna who became fully human, and now this.

I always figured the show would end with Sm and Dean in Hell, I was close with Sam jumping in the Cage, but than season 6 came along. But I think the show will end bloody for them.

Uriel means "Fire of God," fitting since he was a "specialist."

I don't think it's misogyny, it's just in a horror show with monsters, the writers like to kill off characters, there's seems to be this belief that the show doesn't kill off it's male recurring characters, when it is a completely false narrative. I wonder if the show had the same volume of recurring female characters

@adelequested:disqus  No, the male characters (who aren't leads) stay dead too. True some have appeared for an episode as ghosts, or in Heaven, or an alternate timeline, but they all generally stay dead.

Ted Nugent was used for season 2; AC/DC was used for seasons 3, 4 and 5; season 6 skipped using a song during the pre-title montage, though it did use a Bob Seger song during Dean's domestic life montage; season 7 used Foghat; 8 was Jethro Tull, and now we got George Thorogood and the Destroyers for 9.

Well, really nobody survives on this show.

No, Jimmy's still in there. He's probably one of the more tragic characters on the show.

It's not like the show is going to fire her for refusing to do something.

Plus he picked up a few things from the Pizza Man.
