Supernatural definitely fits into the whole Buffy/Angel/X-Files wheelhouse. Hell, Kim Manners who was a producer and director on the X-Files, was a producer and director on Supernatural for four seasons before he died.

Happy ending? Supernatural? Those words don't go with each other.
@avclub-13d7df3c17502af69aafccc758195f96:disqus No, the season 1 DVD and Blu are as intended with the music. There was a licensing issue with streaming (as well as TV) for season 1, so a lot the songs got replaced with fairly generic modern rock.
But thankfully, for seasons 2-8 the music was left alone.
It would be interesting if the show brought in a conspiracy theory type of element some how.
He's gonna get freaky deaky with a lady in few episodes.
I'd say watch the last three of season 8.
MoL is still going to play a part in the show. I think episode 3 or 4, they do a flashback episode to the '30s with the first Men of Letters setting up shop in the Bunker.
Season 2 is were it starts getting really good, and 3 is when it starts to become great.
It made sense that Bobby was the one telling Sam to let go, considering what he said season seven: "When it's your time to go, go."
I'd say season 6 is solid in regards to the stand alone episodes, 7 is the weaker one (though Dick Roman, and the dick jokes are legit great), and 8 starts out a bit shaky but picks up in the back half.
That was amazing.
I liked it, it was interesting and brought up some moral questions about how far is too far.
The Tracy Morgan bit during the 50 Shades sketch seemed like it was pretty close to real life.
Maybe this time they'll have an ending before they start filming.
Actually the CW has aired Supernatural throughout its entire existence, since it's the only show left from the WB.
Is this really newsworthy? I mean Cartoon Network does show the originals at 6 in morning everyday.
And even when they did succeed, there were big consequences; soulless Sam and Dean in Purgatory.
I'm kinda hoping this show ends up like Supernatural. The first season for SPN was pretty shaky too, but really picked up in the second. So here's hoping.
I just found that now, I like that they are going with a more "used future" aesthetic.
It also looks like they're dirtying up the characters a bit, that' something that was weirdly missing from the first season. I mean it wasn't The Walking Dead, society rebuilt itself more or less, so there would be soap/shampoo available, but the characters looked too clean all the time.
