It's not going to be meta. They're bringing a few characters back from season one.

He also has one of those faces that you just kinda want to punch.

Not really, while Carver has said he has a 3 year plan, it's always a crap shoot whether they will be renewed. Hell, Kripke never really expected to make to five seasons, let alone three. They just shoot the show how they want, and hope for the best.

He has sported those looks this season, although not together.

One thing they could have done with Purgatory is litter it with the odd corpse, or bones or what have you.

Purgatory ended up being the lamest thing about the season. It's not that it was a forest in Canada, which I was alright with, put that they didn't have any fun with it. All we saw were some vampires, and human Leviathans, they just half-assed it really. Especially the Leviathans, hell I was able to think up a better

Yeah, these three episodes aren't going to be filler. Carver has gone on record as saying he has a three season plan, so how this season ends had nothing to do with getting renewed (well probably a little). Whatever ending they do was already planned out.

Glib Sam from "Clap Your Hands If You Believe…", is Padalecki at his best. Also, that one scene in season seven, where he confuses Metatron for Megatron; he has a great reaction in that.

It's always been Lebanon, Kansas; which by the way is the geographic center of the contiguous United States.

Yeah, it's a nice big brother/little sister thing with Dean and Charlie.

Ackles' expressions are the best thing about that bit. Like Phil said, he's bulletproof.

To think there's an alternate universe where Walton Goggins was killed off in the Pilot for Justified, and starred on this show.

Franz Kranz in Cabin in the Woods is not a hero, dude was the reason the world ended.

Gabel’s Count seems like he belongs on a different show.

I think there might be more to it, from the promo it sounded like Charlie was asking Dean "what he was doing in her dream?" So it might be another dreamscape type episode like they did in season three.

"Those last-minute deathbed confessions must work better than I’ve always assumed, because there only seem to be half a dozen people in Hell"

We were talking about Sheriff Jody, not Krissy.

According to this clip,  it looks like Bobby got pulled to Hell because of Crowley.

Leviathans are still around according the producers, they're basically no different than any other monster now that Dick Roman isn't around. If they think of a good story, they'll bring them back for an episode.

Adam is in Lucifer's Cage, there's no way Sam would be able to get in there. It's mostly likely Bobby, from the quick peek in the preview, it looked like the guy Sam was approaching had on the same clothes as Bobby had when he died, a blue hat and green jacket.
