Apple pie spells doom on this show, remember.

Watching the preview for next, I think Bobby might be in the episode.

She's not a hunter though, there was only the weird occasion where she got sucked into dealing with monsters a few times. Though it would cool if they brought her back next season, and showed she's picked a few hunting tricks along the way.

I got slightly annoyed when they would say Revelations instead Revelation in season five. And I'm not a religious person, at all, just a stickler for accuracy.

I don't know, shooting the vampire in the eye with the dead man's blood dart was pretty badass.

Is it just me or have all the sheriffs this season been pretty entertaining in their brief bits?

“Helping skeptics see Christ in a different way than they’ve ever seen him before.”  So, he's not going to be a white guy?

I think he meant more that the season would have a more adventure/quest feel. Like how season 6 went more noir, and season 7 was going for a more western Butch & Sundance feel.

You're probably thinking about season 6, when when Castiel burned Crowley's bones, but that was just ruse.

Come on, Cas watching porn was funny. Especially Dean's "now he's got a boner".

Guilty pleasure maybe?

@avclub-d72f705337e5adcf7e33ec0381c5f5b2:disqus  Yeah, that's true, and they probably could toned it down. But there's context, he only used it against demons or the odd monster, you know something that was trying to kill him.

It's pretty much Gerard Butler going around the White House shooting and stabbing people in the head, and making the occasional smart-ass remark.

It's demons though, sure it's cheap heat, but it's in character for demons to be dicks. It'd be more worrisome if it was Sam or Dean calling the average woman that on the show, but that never happens.

This movie is ridiculous, but it's so fun. Fuck the haters.

Iraq was still being called Mesopotamia up until their 1920 revolution. So technically, they aren't wrong.

Yeah, remember Alastair survived being stabbed with the knife.

I highly doubt it, the reference just seems coincidental.

I don't think it's that off that the characters would be pop culture savvy, You gotta assume they have some downtime between hunts, or even take the occasional break on a case to watch some TV or a movie.

But will the characters finally be interesting/entertaining to watch? Probably not.
