Oh yeah, it is a talky movie. One of the first things they teach you in a screenwriting class is to show and not tell for a movie script. And SLP did a lot of telling and not a lot of showing.

I thought Silver Linings Playbook was real average, as me and my friends put it a "mom-pleaser". Sure it was well acted and all, but it was just a competently made film. Not only that, but I found the film's cinematography and editing were pretty bad and distracting.

I hope the reviews are as good as a nice little relaxing hit from Super Hans' crack pipe.

yeah, this baffles me too. Deerhunter are arguably one of the most consistent and continually exciting bands around today. And each album contains a couple of songs that never get old for me, and dare I say it, stone cold classics: "Desire Lines", "Nothing Ever Happens", "Fluorescent Grey".
