Yes, I am serious. How can you claim that the word mansplaining was around long before the internet? That is absolutely ridiculous. I'd be surprised if the term has been around longer than ten years. Do you think the internet is a new thing?

Is there really a trans actor who could've turned in an Oscar-worthy performance in Dallas Buyer's Club?
Taylor Swift, White Lung and Andy Stott seem like unnecessary inclusions to this list. If they were replaced in some order by Future Islands, Ty Segall and Wild Beasts this list would be much better.
Uh, no no, it absolutely was not. Show your work.
The term "mansplaining" is a perfect example of the commentariat creating one word that they think is clever, then inserting it into every conversation they have about everything because they think by using the term, they are automatically intelligent and enlightened beyond reproach.
Lange needs to go. She's just playing a parody of her earlier characters at this point and it is becoming tiresome.
The long scene between Lange and Bates was easily the worst part of the episode. Do not watch it unless you enjoy being bored to tears. Also, the rest of the episode pretty much sucked too.
I almost had to fast-forward that scene. It was painfully boring and over-long. The accents were terrible and the flashback was largely pointless. Emblematic of all of the problems of this season.
Wow, this episode sucked. I cannot stand listening to Jessica Lange any more. It seems like half of every episode is her engaging in pointless monologues in an annoying accent.
While I wouldn't be surprised if the priest hit Danny on the camping trip, I'm not ready to believe it definitely happened just because evil little liar Tom said so.
Guess what Libby: Jim and Charlie (and Sorkin) are right: Gawker and Jezebel and the like are largely worthless self-mastubatory clickbait that do not make positive contributions to the national discourse.
Best comment ever.
Dude, Person of Interest sucks. Seriously. As flawed as The Newsroom may be, it's much better than PoI or anything else on CBS (aka network for old people with no imagination).
One of the best episodes they've done. The reviewer's personal disdain aside. Seriously, if you hate something so much that you can't even give it a fair shake on a week-to-week basis, you should probably pass off the reviews to someone who can remain objective.
The show is the absolute worst.
This show makes the Keanu Reeves movie look like a masterpiece. Incredibly corny and generic with a super-annoying lead actor, no suspense and color-by-numbers "scary" cases of the week.
I thought it was pretty clear that Tom has been lying about everything for the entire season. That's why Miller thinks something's not right but can't see what it is. She is blinded by her trust in her son. He holds the key to the entire investigation.
And then the last decent contestant was voted off and we were forced to watch a bunch of annoying, bumbling idiots compete for a million dollars.
This was an A+. Easily one of the best episodes in years.
Your argument might make more sense if it didn't completely ignore the makeup of the tribe. They are all small people. They have plenty of light flexible players. What they lack is strength. Meanwhile, the other tribe has (had) the burlier brother who crushed his younger sibling in a strength challenge, Jon the…
