There was a show called Greetings from Tucson? Was it a prequel to Sons of Tucson? How many people actually think Tucson is a cool setting for a TV show?

So, is it at HBO for the prestige or for the nudity? I'm assuming prestige, but there are a lot of mentions of sexy, sexy sex above…

I'm not sure he is still working that much: a look at his production credits shows a dropoff after the suit was filed, and most of his work lately has been with people past their prime like Ciara and R. Kelly, or people I haven't heard of. Before the suit, he worked with Britney Spears, Jason DeRulo, Shakira, etc.

True story: My college roommate had worked on a couple of campaigns in the summers, and around '98 or '99 got a call from some people putting together a senatorial campaign for Jerry Springer. He said no, which was a good move, as Springer must have come to his senses / seen some polls and never ran.

That whole episode is classic. It's also got the sketch where Stallone's character's ultimate dream is to run an Orange Julius.

This year it seems to be mixed in with a healthy dose of "if you honestly think Adele is better than Beyonce, you must be a Trump supporter and evil."

Gotta be Mewes and Smith. They could still do a third movie without Dawson.

O'Halloran seems to embrace it and spends a fair amount of time on the comic-con circuit. I have literally no clue what Anderson does in order to eat, but it's gotta be something. If Clerks 3 was going to pay him less than whatever he's doing, then I can't begrudge him that.

25 comments, huh? Well, I guess I understand why TV Club's not doing regular coverage of American Housewife. Shame, as I like it a lot.

Hey, Molly Shannon gotta eat! At least she's doing better than Cheri Oteri, who's stuck in the wilds of TruTV as a guest star.

She was. I'm glad that it looks like she finally won't be playing a high schooler anymore; the woman is 26.

What's Logan got against Okies? Why, Hugh Jackman's favorite musical is Oklahoma!

If she's only 13 or 14, shouldn't her parents / guardian have to sign off on any moneymaking opportunities?

Impoverished?

Although in terms of syndication or ancillary income, Fringe didn't really pan out, did it? I don't think it's anywhere on TV today, and I saw all of the season DVD sets at a Big Lots recently for $3 apiece.

Yes. Much like the Felicity Jones ep, the cast were in a line as far away as possible from Stewart, and none of them went to hug her afterwards. There was easily 3-4 feet, maybe more, between the cast and Stewart / Baldwin / McCarthy.

Sasheer's gotta be done after this season, right? Although I understand she writes more sketches than she appears in, Seth Meyers-style.

If we're doing only alumna of the last 10 years, I'd say… wait a sec … wow. She's probably #2 behind Kristen Wiig, ahead of Maya Rudolph, Casey Wilson, Michaela Watkins, Nasim Pedrad, Rachel Dratch, Abby Elliott, and Noel Wells.
Saying only the past decade does exclude both Poehler and Fey, but you're right, Slate is

When they described Headbutt Man at the beginning, I thought "sounds like a Rob Riggle character." The producers apparently thought the same thing.

Paxton's basically playing his character from Agents of SHIELD a few years ago, but I enjoyed it anyway.
