I grew up in a small town, and we had a family like the Averys (poor, not very bright, constantly getting involved in domestic violence incidents with each other). As a friend of mine from the same town has pointed out, these cases seem like an attempt by the local cops to get rid of the town dirtbags.
Not that that

Somebody made a lot of money off of that song's use on SNL and in the movie. I doubt Kattan knew it wasn't Haddaway.

How was Kattan billed above Ferrell in those opening credits? Even in 1998, that seems odd.

I'll admit: I liked Fun Size. And I thought she was good in it. And the few times I've seen Victorious, it was better than I expected.

Wow, that's a great point. So if Kevin got 87, shouldn't he have been the champion?

Alison Brie is fourth-billed in a bunch of lame comedies, and this is the best Gillian Jacobs can do?

So, can we assume this interview was done sometime before the 9/11 revelations? I could see this being something offered to media outlets several months ago, with the instruction it had to be held for this week.

But Killam said on a podcast, unequivocally, that Brittain was fired by Lorne.

She beat out REM's Out of Time for that Grammy in '92, too.

Hey now, don't forget Golan the Insatiable.

I've actually seen that Bad Hair Day movie, and it's not bad. Stars the mom from Good Luck Charlie as the detective and the girl from Austin and Ally as the person having the bad hair day. I've seen much worse from Disney Channel.

Speaking of, are we going to get a Joy review?

Every comedian eventually reaches their sell-by date, where the misses start to outweigh the hits. Ferrell's had some bad movies in the past (Land of the Lost, Kicking and Screaming), but his recent output includes this, Get Hard (awful), that Lifetime movie (awful, and difficult to tell what the joke was supposed to

Duplass is only 38?!? Dude looks 48, easy.

This reminds me of Neighbors (the early '80s one), where Dan Aykroyd played the wild man, and John Belushi played the buttoned-up one. Also released at Christmas, and flopped pretty hard.

Has Amy had some work done since Parks and Rec ended, or was it just the new red hair? She looked different.

I assume that variety show of hers didn't pan out?

I dunno. I love Will Ferrell, and I can tolerate Kevin Hart, even in stuff like Ride Along and the Wedding Ringer. But I did not care for that movie.

Get Hard was unredeemably bad. The last half was nearly unwatchable.

Yeah, seems to be an instance of wikipedia vandalism. Sylvan Goldman owned the Humpty Dumpty grocery stores in Oklahoma City. The store where the shopping cart was first used is still a grocery, though not a Humpty Dumpty.
