That was it.

Like Jacob, he's pretty passionate about helping people and doing the right thing (even if it's not strictly speaking legal). Adding in the layers of uncertainty and insecurity that he tries to hide with jokes and bravado made a much more interesting character.

I thought Meer did a good job if you were going for a dry, understated sort of Shepard.

People like to give Liam crap, but I think he's by far the best starting human male companion in the ME series. Not that that's a high bar.

The memory triggers are all labeled and are often close to a forward station, so at least they're not that much of a pain to get.

Note: Ryder died on the way back to his home galaxy.

Peebee started off very irritating, but she quickly grew on me.

I thought a better (and more interesting) version of the Destroy ending would be to erase all Reaper code throughout the galaxy. That would return the Geth to their previous state (and add the pain of undoing Legion's sacrifice) and wreck EDI (since includes a number of Reaper algorithms). It would also change the

With the right upgrades, the Nomad can pull just about all of the old Mako climbing tricks.

There were two "twists" related to the secret purpose. The first (which should be obvious to non-new players) was that Alec and several of the other project leaders knew the Reapers were coming. They had a secret benefactor (I'm thinking it was TIM), who dumped huge amounts of money into the initiative to ensure it

I thought Liam's quest was a lot of fun, actually. The level setup itself wasn't particularly interesting, but the writing was pretty great.

They mentioned early in the game that the others were supposedly coming in another ark that got delayed. I agree it would have been nice to have them.

You can still be friends with/look out for someone and be upset/concerned when they do something awful.

I thought the episode took place in The Hague, not NYC. Regardless, it's a nice touch. I also like the seawalled statue of liberty in the credits.

My old roommate was from Chicago, and he always had a bottle or two of Malort available to spring on anyone who hadn't had it before. Oddly enough, a small group actually started to like the damned stuff. I will say that adding a shot of Malort to a grapefruit radler (we usually go with Steigel's) makes a pretty

The main team is in Edmonton, the "B" team is in Montreal (there's also the Austin studio, but they seem to be doing their own thing with SWTOR). I'm pretty sure Montreal started up about 6 or 7 years ago. They did the MP for ME3 (and maybe for DAI?), but Andromeda is their first full game. I think they also

Andromeda is being made by the Montreal studio, which has never shipped a full game before (though they worked on the MP for ME3). I've enjoyed the game, but I'll agree that it's been rough in places. I'm hoping their next effort is more polished.

The Citadel DLC is amazing and you should absolutely play it.

Given that the whole game is essentially a much prettier ME1 with some serial numbers filed off, it makes sense that the UI is utter shit. ME1 had a notoriously terrible interface.

I actually rather like Liam. His loyalty mission was quite a lot of fun. I think if there was a bit more consistency to how he was written, he would have been a fan favorite.
