Let's be honest: the real tragedy on Virmire was realizing that you screwed up and there's no way to prevent the space racist from killing Wrex.

I thought her presentation was deliberately mocking, in a "what are you going to fucking do about it" manner.

Well damn.

That's an oversight. I'd be very surprised if it isn't patched in somehow. I'm pretty sure every Bioware game has had some way of doing that since ME2.

Vader kills the cat first.

Stargate SG-1 had an in-universe parody show of itself called Wormhole X-treme, with really hokey plots and low budget sets. I'd love a game where you play an actor in a show like this. Early in the game, some sort of magic/alien tech/general weirdness makes it all real (but with the same aesthetic).

Isn't there some sort of option to redo the face in-game?

Hunting wild populations tends to be beneficial primarily when a species' natural predators have been severely reduced or removed; this most frequently occurs in herbivores (which snakes are not). I'm not particularly familiar with the status of Eastern hemisphere serpents, but two related factors suggest that this

If snakes were domesticated and farmed, I would agree with you (which is why I have no problem eating the sea turtles farmed in the Cayman Islands). These snakes are captured from the wild, which can have negative effects on the population. This is particularly egregious, since the snakes are being eaten for bogus

The only episodes in Season 1 you really need to watch are the first two, "Angel," and the finale. Season 2 is generally much better (though you can probably get away with skipping episodes 2, 4, and 5 without much difficulty). I'd just watch the rest of the season from there.

I'm pretty sure it was her death that sent him back to Baltimore.

I always seem to fall about half a season behind on The Americans for some reason. I think I just can't take the week-to-week anxiety the shows gives me, so I stop watching until about half of the next season is out, binge what I've missed, then start the cycle again. Great show, though.

POI was the best fucking show. I'm glad that in its passing, other shows have stepped up to fill its shoes.

I'm not sure how much of a distinction the show is making between Protogen and Mao-Kwik. In the books, Protogen wasn't (I don't think) a direct subsidiary of MK; instead, JP Mao was an investor and member of the board. Protogen was dismantled at the end of the first book, but MK was still around to get up to trouble

I don't really see what happened with Julia as counter the show's politics. Some evil, powerful dude prevented her from getting a safe and legal abortion, so she became desperate and got an unlicensed one in the back of a butcher shop from someone who was clearly not a doctor. Back-alley abortions tend to be really

It did seem a bit abrupt, though.

I also appreciated streamlining the introduction of Prax's story. Instead of the Roci flying a relief mission to Ganymede, bringing him back as a refugee, having a SpaceGoFundMe to help him find his daughter, and then returning, it makes a lot of sense to just skip towards the interesting part.

I think it's both. The Inners (apparently) killed a lot of Belters on Ganymede, and they're taking up life support capacity that an agricultural hauler probably doesn't have much of.

Did anyone else notice Naomi's reaction when Prax asked her that question? Good acting by Tipper, and a nice bit of foreshadowing. It also added an second level of dramatic irony to Holden's "from now on, no secrets" promise.
