Must have missed that when I read through BA. I had wondered what had become of it. Makes sense.

I assume she'll be back at some point, but it will be nice to have an evil version of her around for a little while.

My other theory is that since they seem to have merged Sam with Drummer, Diogo is being primed to take her place in Abbadon's Gate.

Holden gave it to Fred after some long negotiations, before the FN eventually stole it. I can't remember when he gave it, but I think it was before chasing down Eros.

Regarding point 2: Fred kept control of Earth's nukes in the books, too. He then used some of them to destroy the protomolecule monsters that were launched at Earth to show that the OPA was a power in the system.

In the third book, Holden sees a poor quality image of Clarissa and thinks it's Julie. That's about the best I can base my assumption off of. In the show, I could see them being turned into twins.

God damn Holden's face in that scene made the whole episode.

Now that I've seen the episode: I'm glad they slowed down and gave the characters on the Roci a bit of time to breathe after what they went though last week, while still maintaining tension with Bobbie and Avasarala. I'll be interested to see how Naomi's decision with the protomolecule plays out in the show. Do you

I haven't actually had chance to watch the episode yet, but I'm assuming this moves fully into Caliban's War territory. I think CW was probably my favorite book (at least out of the first four), so I'm quite excited to see how this goes. I'm particularly interested in how Bobbie is developed. Prior to this episode,

BOOK SPOILER THREAD

We have a chance with the House if the Supreme Court rules favorably on the anti-gerrymandering case they're hearing this summer.

Blenheim's red cap is amazon, and I'm very sad I recently moved to a state where it isn't sold any more. Good to drink on it's own, great with a bit of rum and lime.

We miss you, Detective Carter.

To be fair, Jared Leto was already doing that.

The kid's probably a bit old for Milo.

I've been wondering if they were going to keep the same actress for Clarissa. I'm not sure that keeping her identity secret is a problem, though, since that was revealed in her first chapter.

They're similar to the El Dorado myth; golden cities in the new world that conquistadors spent a lot of time trying to find.

I really hope so. She hasn't really felt the crunch from Mao and Errinwright yet, so I can see them saving it up.

On that note I find it interesting that Holden didn't give Fred the sample like he did in the books. Or was that in book 2? I wonder if it will come up in the series

Now that Fred has half of Earth's nukes, I think the Mormons are going to have to take the soft path to dealing with him.
