i hope someone makes an edit of that digging scene with "dig it up" from the holes soundtrack

just beat the game last night, here is my review in haiku form:

Couldn't agree more. Especially right before the final boss, I loved how they incorporated the mechanic there to create a legitimately heartfelt moment with what I expected to be a silly gimmick before the game was released. Unexpectedly one of the biggest treats of the game.

there was $250,000 lining the walls of the sept of baelor

I still get really mad when I think about Harry and Voldemort's final battle sequence in Part 2. They tried so hard to make it cinematic, and instead of having a really satisfying showdown where Harry shit-talks Voldemort to his face in front of the entire school, you get them flying through the air and fusing

"Wow. I wish I had prepared something to say."
"That's not necessary—"
"May God… guide you in your quest."
"… Yes."

i think i could rewatch the van buren boys nonstop. it fires on all cylinders: kramer's pants story, elaine at peterman's house, jerry's "loser" girlfriend, and george's fake gang sign at the end is one of the funniest visual gags the show has ever done. a perfect episode.

"What do you do there?"
"TCB. Yeah, takin' care of business."

top 5 seinfeld episodes:

i'm hoping for a few "sequels" to some of my favorite bmw episodes: like one where everyone is pissed off about cory's final exam schedule and a bunch of goons vandalize his house, one where maya joins a cult, one where riley pushes cory because he won't play basketball with her, or one where riley tries to go to both

Well… shit. That was one of the most suspenseful episodes since the season one finale.

I'm not surprised that my three favorite episodes this season have all been the Brody-centric episodes. I understand why some people think his arc has run out or is running out of fuel, and I also agree that he probably should die in the season finale. But man, I don't think I could stomach a version of this show

I guess I'm blessed that I started watching this show before I knew the first season was a critical phenomenon. I remember catching it after Dexter that year and being like "wow, this is kind of stupid and really ridiculous, but it's also really fucking awesome." That's how I still feel.

I'm genuinely intrigued to find out how they tie Brody back into the main plot. Will it satisfy? Hard to say, but I'll admit I have a hard time wrapping my head around why so many people think Nicholas Brody is such a useless character now.

I really liked how the committee called into question that Carrie was brought back into the CIA in season 2. I always thought it was a bit of a reach for that to happen, and I'm glad it came back into play in this episode.

Zach Hamilton? Ugh, the last thing I want to remember during my Homeland sessions is the fact that Dexter's eighth season existed.

Jesse driving away at the end should have cut immediately to the Need For Speed trailer.

That's another reason why the finale fell flat. They already tried it before, but it was more compelling when Rita died. Hell, he even tried to run away from everything in the fifth season premiere to protect everyone from him. Except then it was more justified because I could buy Dexter's obsession with Trinity and

That's absolutely awful logic on Scott Buck's part. Breaking Bad's "Ozymandias" is one of the best episodes in the series, and everything that happens in it is what we expected to happen from the beginning of the series. And it was far from "boring" or "predictable." A good writer can make any story compelling, but

Truth be told, I think, given all the stupid shit that we've seen this season, that the lumberjack epilogue was the least of the show's problems this year.
