Nick Cave is awesome. Grinderman alone works for me, but The Proposition is also awesome.

He is a moderate Republican. The healthcare bill everybody is crying about was created by the Heritage Foundation. People just don't remember what Republicans used to be like.
Afghanistan did not attack us, btw.

I don't care. It's the nature of the medium. A great issue is a great issue for reasons other than continuity, at least that is where I have come to.
Just being a dick.
Anyway, here is my short list:
Pisces Iscariot might even be my favorite SP album (?), I listened to that every night when I went to bed for 2 years. Frail and Bedazzled is just a kick ass tune.
I never paid much attention to the song titles, so I wasn't sure which song Mayonaise was, but after calling it up in itunes and hearing one second I knew that you were right. It is the best song.
I recently enjoyed a free ride (ticket and all the drinks I could consume) in exchange for helping Jucifer load their gear into a bar. The guitar amp took about an hour to load in. After, Edgar gave me a Black Label. They were cool people.
I'm not huge on the singing either, but my 10 year old daughter loves it and every week we both run to catch the new AT, so it's worth it to me.
JH is totally on with Tender Prey as a starting point, that is the album that hooked me. It's a classic. Grinderman II is also awesome.
Never heard of it, assumed it was Hobo with a Shotgun II or something.
Now we can't call people we disagree with crusty old dildo
s? Man, what happened to this comment board?
Wait, so now we are hating spaghetti westerns because they are not historically accurate? What?
