I agree that some of the things they do are most likely ineffectual, but that just means we should be looking for better solutions, not cutting funding for the TSA simply because we haven't found our "reverse cowgirl" solution to air travel.

I'm calling Azmarie for the win. Tyra will just need an Asian girl and she'll complete her collection of token winners:
I dunno. Considering she's a professional in the industry, I think she's providing some of the girls with needed real-world experience. Not everyone is as lovable as André Leon-Talley. Would I rather have Twiggy or Paulina on the regular panel? Sure. But these girls are going to have to deal with sour-faced monsters…
Nah, not a buzzkill at all. I'm a hybrid ironic/un-ironic fan of the show. I totally get what you're saying, and I, too, feel that inevitable disappointment when the person who should win doesn't win.
I agree about Elise. I also think she has the sense to stand her ground and make sure she's not compromising what makes her her (at least I hope she does).
If nothing else, I enjoyed the increasingly crappy gems offered for sale.
Obedient applause? They're employees trying to make a sale.
Oh yeah, it has nothing to do with people not wanting to feel violated.
I love the fact that Happy Endings (more than any other show I've seen) really represents the spectrum of modern gays:
It's about time for a Jaleel White comeback.
The two leads and Jennifer Coolidge. . . plus I'm a twentysomething in NYC, so I kind of enjoy the "oh, I know what that is" aspect of it all.
Here is a list of shows other people would call horrible that I enjoy (both ironically and unironically):
What's an arc? is that some thing that requires investment in characters and situations with consistent reactions?
What about Jujubee?!
Wow, neither can I now that you mention it. Putting these (predominantly) high maintenance queens in the real outdoors? Ru could make them pitch a tent and have them channel some Mother Earth realness.
@avclub-ba6eb126f6e0a1cdeb3d5aaff181aeae:disqus , and yet peeing on your child is somehow not.
It was trying for Jerry Herman and "Bosom Buddies" (while, like you said, also failing to channel Berlin's "Anything You Can Do") but failed spectacularly both compositionally and lyrically.
That crazy bitch did it in order to make sure we're talking about the show, and I love her for it.
Hey TVDW, no mention of how much of an immense bitch Caroline was in her "The things you find exciting I find dull and boring because you are poor" speech? I've felt bad for her in the past, what with her essentially being a pariah, but she shat on the one person whose been there for her just because everything wasn't…
At least with the wig off you're not forced to wonder what species of rodentia it was before it died.
