Did no one else enjoy "son-died tomatoes"?

at least they kept that one girl's criticism of doing a Prop 8 piece. Was especially nice hearing her say what was running through my head every time Young's piece showed up: "And. . .?"

be forewarned: you only get to see breasts fully bared when they're in art form. So,

She could have had more talent.

Wait. . .what? I thought she was talking about the city. Is that really a reference to LA Reid? Interesting.

I'm afraid that if Melanie Amaro doesn't step out of her comfort zone quick she's going to fall to the same forces of indifference that felled Pia Toscano on this past season of AI.

Frasier, too.

What's interesting is that the show is returning to a mode of song that they abandoned about a third of the way through the first season: the internal fantasy. Some of my favorite early numbers did this ("Bust Your Windows," "Take a Bow"), and then they had to have it so that every song was performed diagetically

Umm. . .in the memory she was referencing. . .yes?

1. This is not the funniest episode of American Dad ever.
2. While it took me a little while to warm up to Rowan, he's a great reviewer on American Dad.
3. Does the grade thing really have to be explained? They are not the same across shows. A Community episode that is given a B- is still better than 95% of the stuff on
