"Such a fully realized character" Yes! Maurice Minnifield is one of my all-time favorite TV characters. I always loved a Maurice-centric episode. There was so much to love and hate about him, but he was always felt as original and iconic as his own perception of himself. Great stuff!

The advertising for this film has been as directed as any I can remember. Sports? Well, you get the ads with the action scenes set to the rocking guitar licks. *devil horns* Comedy Central? You get all the slapstick bits. It looks like a completely different movie depending on whatever programming you're watching.

With the presumption that Storm of Swords will be split into two seasons, I foresee the frantic pace of the story slowing a bit to allow for a little more breadth and finer moments with the characters.

What I like, and I believe they pulled off, is that the non-readers and newbies should now be going into next season actually rooting for Stannis after keeping him at arm's length for much of the story.
