I don't think any of this parody, as you call it, I think it's supposed to be symbolic. Alicia is desperately heartbroken and feeling at a loss because of Will, that kind of loss, the loss of someone that you not only loved, but missed out on having, is making her question all her decisions in life.

Getting real tired of writers calling Don's rape, him losing his virginity. He was 12, he said no, she assaulted him against his will.

This reply is late, but I think you misunderstood what I meant, which is fine. The overarching melodrama, the over the top storylines, are supposed to be a metaphor for how you feel over small, often almost petty, problems. That's what I mean by mundane every day issues that feel like the world is ending.

Thanks!

I've watched Grey's from the beginning and I would never quit. It may seem like a "romance" but the biggest, most important relationship in the show has been between Meredith & Cristina. The heart of the program is female friendship, and extending from that base, learning to really be there for other people. Loyalty.

I'm in love with this show. It's is both SO Carrie as well as SO much more like MY high school experience than anything I've seen in the past. Sure, I like the sexy teen programs as much as the next person. But they never feel as real to me. Maybe some kids out there are like that, but my friends and I were all goodie

Just move to SoCal, I haven't served yet, but we're called in every year like clockwork.

I completely agree.

I watch this show religiously, and I don't give a shit who knows it. You don't have to like it, no one is asking you to.

An ASYLUM ARE YOU SERIOUS?
That is SO incredibly offensive. You do realize that it's called either a psychiatric facility, or a HOSPITAL yes?

This is really great
Thank you for separating them out! I want to read the books, but I prefer to see the show first.

Thoughts on Peter
It strikes me that Peter's not been changed by the machine, he's been changed by what's happened to him—which I realize people know. But think of it this way—there was a police report, I think, I read about a while back, a woman's husband had an identical twin, who posed as her husband in order to

@ Notoftenpunctual: no you're not the only woman who found that scene hot. I, and many of my friends, think all the spike/buffy scenes are hot. And I really don't think their sex was particularly depraved. A little kinky for sure, but come on people. There's nothing wrong with a little pain here and there. God some

Buffy's Hair
Something that you only sort of touched on. Buffy's hair. Diehard fans like myself have long noticed that whenever Buffy goes through some kind of weird thing emotionally she changes her hair. In Something Blue her hair is curly, when Faith takes over her body her hair is curly. She cuts her hair off at

I believe
Allyson Hannigan had laryngitis during the filming of this. I think they actually cut some of her lines, etc. But I think I read she was glad cause she didn't want to sing? I may be misremembering. I believe she does indeed have a bad voice.

The Field Where I Died
I was never the biggest fan of this episode, though it has its moments. But, Mulder reciting from Browning's Paracelsus kills me every time. That's possibly my favorite scene in the whole series.

"liked Adam pointing out how bizarre it is that Jasmine seems this into his shiftless younger brother."
I agree with you on everything except this; which I think iss one of the lamer things about this show. Crosby has never seemed shiftless to me—he lives in a boat and hasn't been much for long term relationships. Ok,

That whole thing annoyed the crap out of me. If it was so important to him, why didn't HE make the bloody soup. She's a high powered lawyer and he's a stay at home parent. Surely he has more time for cooking!!!!

Met before
Actually they didn't rewrite how Booth and Bones met. If you other will recall, in the first episode of the series Booth and Bones already know each other, and dislike each other, and Booth has to convince Bones to come and work on his case—because she said she'd never work with him again.
