I was surprised that I generally agreed with the review this week for a change, until I realized it was a different reviewer. Anyway, some good points - rehashed plotlines, rehashed romance, Dwight's confusing petulance at Jim leaving when he knew he would be, and the show's unwillingness to let Jim go to his new job

Susanna Hoffs and Leonard Nimoy? Fapinating.

At some point did someone tell John Travolta that his hair looked good with a buzz-cut that is dyed so black it looks like it was outlined with a Sharpie and filled in with black shoe polish?

Yeah, I wasn't super-impressed by this episode (on first glance anyway - I've noticed they tend to improve on subsequent viewings). I've also started to notice that Erik Adams' ratings tend to be diametrically opposed to mine for some reason…

Sure, it'll all be fun until Colbert gets an intestinal problem and his set bursts into flames, killing dozens of animals.

Gob: It's okay, she's alive. And soft. Soft and alive. (caressing Rita's hand)
Lucille: All right, let's not add THAT to the charges.

Because George-Michael (and Tobias) turn away from thrown objects, there’s a running gag early in “Notapusy” in which everything thrown ends with a distant shattering sound. This includes the broom that GOB tosses aside when Michael asks him to help clean up.

I agree - throwaway background jokes like that one are often the funniest.
