How did the show "pretend it never happened?" Admittedly it did not reference the rape directly. But likewise nothing happened which would not have logically followed the rape. The strained relationship between Jaime and Cersei seemed even more strained, which follows. Would it have seemed better to you if she said,

No prob.

As someone with grad degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science, I can honestly say I was more intrigued by the math I learned in the latter. And I haven't worked on compression algorithms myself, but I have a dev friend who worked on the original Winamp a decade (plus) ago, and he had no "sound lab"

Possibly, but his hot assistant (or whoever assisted HER) read the code and recognized the algorithm's potential, so ostensibly he has devs on staff already. But whatever, if we have to scrutinize the plot THIS much then perhaps it is not as thin as I first thought. :-)

Computer scientists aka programmers ARE "math guys." Nothing hard to believe at all about a programmer writing a compression algorithm.

Fair point, I have actually only used Github once and didn't even know private was possible, I just assumed it was synonymous with open source. Although, he also gave out the Github link to the dick investor dude with the hot assistant, which begs the question why didn't that guy just develop the algorithm himself

A bigger problem than the legal question is the fact that the show went out of its way to explain that Hooli engineers were going to decompile and reverse engineer the compression algorithm used in Pied Piper, which is silly because it was already established that the source code was on Github.

Yeah, cinematography tonight was among the best I've ever seen on any TV show, certainly would have never expected Shameless to look and feel this good if you told me that a few years ago. It fits very well with the more mature plots too… the immature Sheila/Sammy catfight was the only moment in the entire episode I

Thanks. My memory was not so good. I remember whiskey in my mouth and gunfire on my TV, but that is about it.

How does Boyd know about the Nicky thing?

Architecture students are like virgins with an itch they cannot scratch.

Yeah, that one's way better than and of the ones that were posted.

I like the rateyourmusic website for this reason. The top ratings each year are often heavily skewed toward metal, but the site is not metal only.

Unless you're a TV critic and are paid to write TV reviews.

Are we supposed to believe that every single person walking the streets of Tehran is an extremist/terrorist that cheers for murderers? I literally don't know, but find it very unlikely that's true. And if it's not true, it seems a little offensive.

Yes! +1 for Isbell.

So, right before SAMCRO stormed the redneck skinhead fortress, there was a quick shot that showed Jax stashing his pistol on top of the gas tank of his bike, pointed at his own nuts.  This struck me as really stupid, even for SoA.  Do these outlaw gun dealers not know a better way to secure a loaded and live firearm

Redemption is for the self.  I don't think Walt did that for himself, I think he did it for Skyler.  Which may, in fact, have redeemed him…. but that doesn't mean he "cared about redemption."  It means he cared about Skyler hearing the truth.

Same, and also still pissed they killed Jimmy.  I thought I'd get over it in time, and maybe I would have if they'd introduced other compelling storylines to make up for the lack of Jimmy (as other shows have done after killing main characters)… but I never did get over it. :-/

Stupid nitpick re: "flushed out"… pretty sure you mean fleshed out. ;-)
