I like it too, but I'm scared since by the end of this season I doubt there will be room for both of them, and Shelby is obviously less valuable to the show, but I don't want to see either of them go.
My favorite was Raylan calling Boyd a puppet in their prison cell, and Boyd's face and tone of voice when he defended his line of work.
Yeah, John Hawkes would be better for a few episodes, which is all I'm guessing Drew Thompson will get. McShane needs a whole season on camera.
Yeah, this is the first season where I've started despising Boyd, which kind of sucks, but I still enjoy his acting. The face he made when he told Raylan the whole world is a tree was priceless. In S1 he was pretty evil but we barely knew him so it didn't count. Since then he's been kind of grey, but this season…
You know Raylan can't die though, right? But yeah, I'll admit even knowing that it was tense. Pretty skilled for a show to pull that off in spite of everything.
Just admit it's for you and I'll tell you what it's called.
Damn, I forgot he was Hearst, but my spider sense was telling me something was weird about those two faces having a conversation.
Best moment for me was Raylan making puppet hands to Boyd when they were locked up together.
Listen to Ryan Adams' cover of it if you haven't. That is the moment I started liking the song.
Agreed on most counts, but in asshole's defense (a VERY thin defense), I doubt he realized the paint was washable yet.

Yeah, that was possibly the stupidest thing he's ever done on this show. He literally almost died because of ignoring a threat a few feet away from him.
Speaking of which, who was beating on the door while Colt was in there?
Yeah, I was pretty excited to meet both those characters (Billy and Randall) and was looking forward to watching them spar with Boyd and Raylan all season. The only way I will not be disappointed is if we get more characters that are just as likable (and I guess Randall could still come back technically, though he…
Self-aware is not the term I would use to describe the guy who turned his back on an expert fighter for 30 seconds, just because the last time he looked, the guy was wincing in pain. Raylan is nearly as oblivious about some shit as Randall, they're just on different wavelengths in other ways.
Yeah, it was pretty fucking stupid how he turned his back on the guy for a solid 30 seconds though. Even for him. I found that difficult to swallow.
That really did not sound like Timothy Olyphant at all. I read it was him before the episode, totally forgot about it during the episode, then read it again afterwards and had to go flip through it again to see if it should have been obvious to me. Even knowing it was Olyphant, it really sounded off to me. Weird.
Re: "rights to the song"… Do you actually think Mulatto Butts is a real song?
Well that blows. The actress for his sister does not seem nearly as talented as him. At least put the better actors in the full season roles. :-(
