Seriously.

He was born when I beat it out of you

Yes! Cocteau is the shiznit. The only legendary bohemian I'd want to do a "Midnight in Paris" type jaunt with.  He had such a gigantic and rich life, and like Jacques Tati, was able to cavort around the turn of the 20th century and live to see and invent toward the middle of it. Just so fascinating and inspiring.

Okay, good. I thought it was just a problem with my old player. It took forever, so I just left it in haha (I figure I'll get a lot of mileage out of it this way, make myself sick of it)

I'm not sure why I keep reading reviews of new Simpsons. I guess I hope that there will miraculously be @ least some measured appreciation of the show, since I'm not exactly hoping for a totally poignant write-up and set of comments a la Enlightened, Louie, Mad Men… but… yeah. Nothing but like 5% intelligent outliers

Because of this show, when the Maximum Carnage crossover came out across the Spider-Man books, I pronounced Carnage in the Don K way, humiliating myself almost immediately with my peers

It doesn't feel like a Wes Anderson movie, except maybe Charlie Sheen having some of the grizzled remove of Gene Hackman in Tenenbaums. This movie is not nearly as awful as the above review would have you believe. I'd mark it a neat B- if anything. Doesn't completely gel, but there are some neat little moments and the

There's two parts to this very insightful video, recorded when the show was set to have its 2nd season in the summer, and there was more than a fading flash of hope for a 3rd. http://www.youtube.com/watc… He's a truly amazing dude

This one had me laughing a lot. Oh well, I guess I'm a fucking idiot…

I absolutely loved that fakeout. Once the three of them are in the hotel room, I got the feeling already that it was a classic half hour of TV and it wasn't even finished.

Had to rewatch this one within an hour or so after seeing it. Wow. And it's so deep and painful, the undercurrent of love and everything about it that's doubtful and disappointed and untrustworthy. So heartbreaking when Amy rips Levi's letter and chucks it, especially after knowing how he has a genuine turnaround by

Pretty sure it's just Nancy Cartwright aging… not that makes it any less jarring. There have been other occasions as of recently, but none quite THAT pronounced

You guys all sound like you'd call season 2 the worst year of The Wire

Like I said, I'm really overweight and don't have time to argue. Off the top of my head, Politically Inept and the Krusty episode were also a-listers

I'm 100% confident that's not the case. Just last season, the cruise ship episode cemented itself as future canon
