Just want to throw another plug in for The Todd Glass Show.  Last week's episode with Rory Scovel was pretty consistently hilarious (as has been every Rory Scovel episode to date).  Looking forward to today's PFT episode.

Does any one else think the Maltin Game has suffered since Doug dropped the "pick 1 of 3 years" element of the game?  While I understood the thought process behind the switch, I thought there was much more of a skill/strategy element to the game with the old format, and found myself more interested in the shows.

I'm assuming Bev knocked off Chris Glasses then last night?  Don't really care after Nyesha got knocked off due to the bogus ingredient swap wrinkle from last week's LCK, but would like to see Beverly come back and send Sara and/or Andrea packing.

Just a friendly heads up to weekend podmass readers- there is a new Pod F. Tompkast up this morning!

Yeah, I thought he had said on one of his recent podcast appearances that they'd be back on 1/1.  On the bonus Who Charted?, though, he did not mention the podcast when giving his new year plugs.

Nor can he be funny.

Also, ATTENTION MATT MIRA:

My ballot, and I think we (and by "we", I mean the A.V. Club staff, of which I am not a member, but I'm pretty certain there are a lot of people interested in infrequent commenters' like myself's (myselve's?; neither?) rankings) should have a follow-up post with the listeners' rankings:
(1) Never Not Funny (15)
(2) The

The Todd Glass Show has been hilarious the last month- the last 2 (Henry Phillips, James Adomian) in particular were great.  If I were Oprah (Winfrey) and was coming up w/ a list of my favorite things for the 2nd half of 2011, TTGS would be right up there w/ the Chick-fil-a Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich competing for

Yeah, the litigants were pretty unbearably dull.

Agree 100% on missing Schatz as a regular podcast guest/the designated NFL stats guy.  Can't point my finger on a specific example, but Barnwell's analysis just seems lacking in comparison.
Think 98% of readers agree that Simmons' writing has been going consistently downhill for quite a while now.  I had some hopes

I would like to nineteenth the opinion that the live music on CBB has been a snooze, and brings the comedy to a halt.  Miss the comedy song interludes, which were hit-or-miss, but often pretty amusing and/or enjoyable to listen to.

Have enjoyed most of the new guests this season (Wil Anderson, Dave Anthony, Tom Wilson were all great) but this week was an absolute bore (apparently the hack comic that Crasnick played on The Sopranos was his actual standup routine).  Long overdue for a PFT episode.  Wouldn't mind seeing Daly, Behrendt, and a few

I'm surprised Podmass didn't criticize Scott for insulting and irritating his guests at the opening and mucking up the whole show in the process.

"Scott Aukerman has been criticized for meddling too much in the show’s comic rhythm [by easily duped A.V. Club podcast reviewers who don't get and/or enjoy his sense of humor]"

Simmons is the non-satirical Colbert of sports… all his ideas come from his gut.

Glad I didn't delete "How Did… before this week so I could catch the PFT episode, but will now delete it from my podcast list w/out looking back after even a PFT episode managed to annoy the hell out of me for much of the time. Way too much "that was insane!" and "that made literally NO sense" in high-pitched voices

Yeah, also thought it Marino.

That's where I had heard Riggle's story before! Stopped listening to Pollak a while back after finding new podcasts whose hosts didn't annoy the hell out of me.
Excellent week for WTF w/ Riggle and Lewis. Glad to see the snooze of a Paul Reiser relegated to "The Rest", was worried that PodMass' "The Best" was

Doug Loves Movies?
Where the hell did you guys find the championship episode before your deadline? I can't find the thing anywhere. Professional podcast reviewers are now receiving advance screeners?
