Since he ran away before the end of 'Inconveniencing' he can be forgiven for not knowing Dipper's bejeezus can't be frightened out.

Seriously, I think Hirsch is definitely showing us that Grunkle Stan is more than a little shady. His surface untrustworthiness may actually just be a diversion from his deep, core untrustworthiness.

That Community episode was a great parody of oldschool RPGs. This one was a great parody of every fighting and beat-'em-up game ever. I thought the jokes in this were funnier, but I suspect that a given persons preference for one over the other might hinge largley on which type of game they like more.
