How unfortunate. I'm reading her book on Hawaii right now. I also think your assessment on the percentages is off. Presumably you're exaggerating for comedic effect.

I actually agree with this. I'm willing to say I'm a fan already, but this really feels like more of an episode 5 or 6 of a series.

Is there someplace I can go to see the pilot? It's not on the AS site and I could go look, but thought 'd ask the brain-trust(not meant sarcastically-this is a pretty amazing group of commentators) first.

I respectfully disagree. I loved it despite some flaws. sarCCastro, if you liked the Boondocks, Afro Samurai or Minoriteam you should give this one a try. I've only seen the 1st episode, and assume its going to smooth out a bit and (as I've mentioned above or below) haven't seen the movie so I watched this with new…

There area lot of overlapping names in the credits, and not just in the shared cadre of voice actors. The producer Brian Ash was also producer of basically the latter half of Boondocks. I didn't catch much in the animator credits, but I did catch that good ole Rough Draft Studios is involved with both. They can do no…

I thought it was an odd choice focusing the premiere episode on a secondary character, but as I said in my comment, I hadn't seen the movie. The creators obviously assume we viewers would have.

That review seemed way harsher than the letter grade. Just sayin'.

I think we're gettign set up for Dr. Roxxo to play a big part in the 'rescue Toki' storyline. He's Toki's best friend in the world, as Toki is his. The guys in the band want and need him, but they aren't his friends the way Roxxo is.

No one on this show kicks ass like Ofdensen. Its one of the reasons he's probably my favorite character. I can identify with the guy who seems like the sane, stable part of the group but who can bring it like no one else when he must.
