No one on this show kicks ass like Ofdensen. Its one of the reasons he's probably my favorite character. I can identify with the guy who seems like the sane, stable part of the group but who can bring it like no one else when he must.

Assuming another season is in the offing, I'd say that we should look at this not as an anti-climax but as the lead up to a season long festival of awesome that will be the entire arc climax.

You can tell it was good because they cancelled it. Its very much my favorite of the current animated superhero shows (although Young Justice is a very close second).

Wow…I'm not usually one to write a comment about how terrible the review in question is, and I've publicly defended other stuff the commentariat thought was terrible, but this review was terrible.

Well, there is ONE Old Love Returns episode that I think the show pulled off quite well. You know the one of which I speak, so I'll say nothing more.

Billy West has said Zapp is based on the idea of Shatner himself being a space captain and not just playing one on TV. I think it was in the commentaries from the first run of the show on DVD, but I don't recall exactly which one.

You realize that you've just guaranteed at least one Elzar appearance this season, and probably an entire episode dedicated to him like, next week.
Next you'll say something like "Wow, that was easier than I thought it would be," or even "What could possibly go wrong?"

Really? I've always thought of him as more LeMarchetastic.

Cory Doctorow wrote an interesting take on this in a short story based on Supes crashing in Canada. I can't recall the title, but check his website (Craphound.com) he did an audio version of it a while back and posts all of that on his site.

And, you know, smallpox. Wait, everyone knows P'Hut includes smallpox in their "food", right?
