I've seen plugs for electric cars at some hotels. It's slowly becoming real…

"The wrong son died"did echo through my mind. Damn you, Walk Hard. Also: the Observer walking through the glass wall reminded me too much of Homer walking through Flanders' hedge in the Simpsons' Terminator 2 parody. So… thanks a bunch, comedy.

Man. I JUST saw him on screen the other week. In a very odd Canadian film called "The Neptune Factor." In which rescue workers in a submarine encounter… giant aquarium fish. (spoiler: the eels are the most dangerous!) The whole thing looked they shot it in the fish tank section of a pet store. The man kept his dignity

On the cover of Songs of Love and Hate especially.

"It was only when you walked away I saw you had the perfect ass. Forgive me for not falling in love with your face or your conversation."
I break that out when anyone asks me if I've memorized any poetry.

Atom Egoyan is everywhere. The dude gets out a lot. Goes to a lot of theatre. If a play has a five-performance run, you have a 20% change of spotting Atom Egoyan. I have seen Atom Egoyan more often than I've seen many members of my family.

I'm guessing no beard. A beard'll look odd on a jaw that big.

You know what's even shorter? 'Bolt'. Maybe they can give him a crossbow and just go with that. Or 'Dart'. I'll let them pick.

Now he can have other colors of arrows!

"You gonna vote for some other film for this Oscar? For why you do that?"

or.. As You Lick It.

Does Lisa remind anyone else of Tasha Robinson?
I'm watching too many AV Club videos.

I never minded the nuke the fridge moment. I thought it was outlandish and hilarious and fun. It was later that the film lost me…

In a flashback to 2005 - the Machine identifies a govt. honcho - Weeks - as a threat to itself - the onscreen graphics go red and say "THREAT TO SYSTEM" (govt. guy and Finch's old partner Ingram are meeting while Finch is in another room, monitoring via the Machine's POV) then at the end again back in 2005, Finch says

I'm liking Fusco.

I'm still watching it, God help me. There are hints now that The Machine is sentient and capable of acting out of self-interest. Which is a whole new level of interesting.

The line "It's been a while since my bottom half smiled" (in reference to needing to get laid) kind of walked away with the 'ick' award.

Side note to that scene: it's a bit weird how Sheila remarks to Fred, "See? I told you he had a good build." and Fred says "I stand corrected." when Fred saw George naked just last week.

We in Canada not only carry condoms in our wallets, but sing about them in our 1980s pop songs. Ahem…

@avclub-e11867421fddfc6c56f591174b8120ef:disqus : TTC is the Toronto Transit Commission and Wellesley station is the closest station to the 'gay village' of Church and Wellesley.
