That's ok, I'm always late and arrive halfway through for family breakfasts, I'm hoping the singing would be done with then.

The Gergiches, actually, being their neighbours might be better.

That whole scene is just masterfully directed, and perfectly shows that Richard is on his own there. Everybody else is in shots with someone else at one point or another, he's the only one who only ever appears on his own, and Rory and Dean are always in the same shot symbolising the unity.

I'll take the opportunity to ask if anyone can explain the hate for that show.
It was by no means great, but definitely pleasant and watchable, I seem to remember lots of the grades around here in the B area, and it felt about right.

I've found them and they're not going anywhere (it would anyway have been illegal for me to watch them on Hulu as well).

One of my favourite scenes of the whole series is in those: Emily telling Richard to apologise to Rory and tearing up. The perfect expression of her regrets of what her relationship with her daughter has come to. I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

I don't think it's hypocrisy as much as Richard having a clear idea of what he thinks are people's places in society. He unfortunately (for him) finds out that you can always be somebody else's prole.

I'm only a casual reader, but they seem to have at least a couple of metal reviews every week, it's that's what you're into, it might be worth a scan every so often.

I have no qualms at all going the illegal route for those, less of a time limit that way.

I wonder if they didn't start shooting season 2 knowing some of the season 1 episodes would air in between, there were indeed a few early season 2 eps that seemed to be halfway between production order and airing order when it comes to continuity.

I was just looking up phenol levels and found http://www.whisky.com/forum…, if you're still looking for smoky peaty stuff it should have some useful info.

I never noticed, and I actually have that record!

The whisky bar I patronised had it, and I was very tempted, but maybe next time (I still want to try the Caol Ila). They have also introduced since the last time I had been whisky flights where you buy a selection of 4 or 5 shots at once, I'll probably have to plan a few more excursions.

There is hardly a thing in the world that is better than a G&T on a terrace under the sun, terrace and sun optional.

Username: because the one I had chosen (and can't remember right now) was too long, Disqus chose it for me (I'm lazy)

I've tried a few nice whiskies in the past week.

How do you do?

And "anti-rock" in the sense that someone who doesn't suffer/starve/die for their art and is even just conscious of the state of their bank account is somehow less worthy is a notion that should have died a long time ago.

Dinosaur Jr. is a bit of a different case as they are still putting out new material.
They're also an interesting comparison since, as it's pretty clear their return is not temporary, their shows seem less popular than those of bands of similar reputation who are doing just the one (or two) reunion tours/shows.

None of those are bands that made a fortune in the first place.
