Pierrot le Fou is amazing, there is a feeling of absolute freedom coming out of it, the sense that absolutely anything may happen next. The movie was actually nowhere near as improvised as it seems, but that you would believe it is is one of the reasons why it is so successful. In some ways it feels like a child

Congratulations!

I still love:"Did somebody say crazy person? Well, I heard it." from season two.

The other movie that unfairly gets lumped in with that trash is Not Nother Teen Movie, I have no doubt that they wanted to make money but the people involved actually loved what they were mocking, and it even has Captain America (and Josh Radnor).

She's The Man is great! One of the better "classics for teens".

Irreversible was a no-no for me when the a monthly movie magazine did their cover on the scandal at Cannes, two weeks before the start of the festival. The publicity concentrating on the shocking part pretty much negates any positive point for me.

It is narrow and arbitrary, as most teenagers' decisions are.
But there is already so much out there, it's already hard enough to make choices between all the things I'm really interested in.
And it's quicker and easier to have stupid reasons to ignore stuff.

I'm sure it's good, but there is so much good music and art out there. And as good as it would be, it's been a while since I've come across something that completely bowled me over. I'm sure that now, even though I don't care anymore about why I chose to ignore them back then, my reaction wouldn't be too different

My reasons don't really match with the way the question is brought, but for me it is Radiohead.
When I was a teenager, I was a huge prog fan (King Crimson is sitll one of my favourite bands, and Genesis, Yes, or Marillion records still get regular spins); I bought this Mojo issue dedicated to prog in 2000 or 2001, they

I can't stand their records, but I somehow ended seeing them live last year (for free in a relatively small space) and it was amazing.
I've tried listening to the records again and I still find them unlistenable, and I know they're the exact same songs I enjoyed live.

I wouldn't be able to decide which is my favourite episode of any season, but Double Date feels like the first proper episode of the show, they finally knew the stories they wanted to tell and how they wanted to tell them.

I get that she trying to impress him and show her rock credentials, but the first thing I thought on this rewatch listening to Lane drone to Todd about the bands she likes was to find her most annoying; I'd almost believe that Todd played dumb to have some peace.

I can believe that Lane was into the slacker look and Todd beingher type, the first conversation we see them having together she talks about Beck.

I agree with olivececile, it's obviously played for laughs, but it couldd as well be that he realises that there is no way this is going to work (his first complaint is that she is taller, sometimes a no-no for women) and would rather just spend time with his cousin.

Was he the one who liked wine and cars or was that another one Emily tried to arrange?
If so, Lorelai's recount feels enough.

No, I think I will soon, I was planning to a couple of weeks ago but got distracted by Laphroaig 18. There's apparently a pub specialised in whisky next to my job, I'll have to go check, but someone told me it might be scotch only.

Thanks to everyone for the recommendations, I'll report my findings once I've tried.

France actually, but I had to wait until I was back in London to have my rabbit.
A similar unfulfilled want was the reason why I found out where pretty much all the restaurants serving fondue in London are (well, three, there might be more).

When I went back to the motherland for Christmas I really wanted rabbit, unfortunately it wasn't possible at my father's as his wife has a couple of pet rabbits, and it wasn't possible at my mother's because my sister has a rabbit plush toy, she's 25.
Thank God for French restaurants.
