Did you ever happen to notice a large percentage of your overstock starting with "Z" missing? If so, it probably ended up at the indie record store I worked for. Eventually we figured it out and stopped buying from those customers.

As a kid we would go to Dairy Queen and there was this thing on the menu called a "Mr. Misty". For like a year I would try ordering one only to be told "the machine is broken". One day I was informed that yes, their machine was now working. I excitedly ordered a Lemon Lime Mr. Misty.
Hmm, well hello to all you no-time lurkers, first time posters. May this thread end up looking like the comment section of a local newspaper. Ugh.
I've said it before here, but PSA for all of you reading this…make a will. You can do it in like 20 minutes from one of the popular internet legal websites, most time consuming part is just getting your signature notarized. I was really bummed when I got ZZ Top's Afterburner and it didn't come in that awesome clear shell like my cousin's had.
I worked full-time at a record store in Seattle when this came out. I don't know how well the record store was doing, but I was pulling down $160 a week after taxes, I'm not sure how I ever survived. It was a fun job but I definitely felt like my potential was capped. Only thing really noteable about that job was…
I forgot I had a scan of the setlist on my 15+ year out-of-date homepage:

(Bellingham, WA 3B Tavern was the location)
ugh! (<—- this means "me too")
I was in Tasmania, Australia in the early 2000s and the lead story on the local news was their being a huge fracas brewing at the local school causing people to take sides and get into arguments.
